"The MIDI Form"

This Order Form is considered secure by our server, however, as with all Electronic transactions, there could be some form of security risk involved. If you feel that your personal information should not be sent his way, you may fill in the required areas, download and/or print this order form, then fax it to us. To E-mail the order, simply click the SUBMIT button at the bottom of this form. Once we receive your order, it will then be sent to the Email address provided by you.
A fax tip: Fill in the MIDIFORM as per normal, then print THE MIDIFORM to your printer or fax. It's that easy.
All orders are processed and supplied during normal business hours. All that's left to do is fill in the following MIDIFORM and SUBMIT or FAX it. In a short time, you will be another HAPPY BANDTRAX MIDIPHILER.

GM to suit General MIDI Equipment, or GS to suit Roland GS equipment. Select Your Type Further Info Below

GM (General Midi) is recommended for products that are NOT 100% GS compatable. If you are using Roland GS equipment, the GS files allow for a greater range of sounds and effects to be accessed when programming. The data within GM and GS can be very different, therefor use the type that best suits your equipment.

The file format is how the midi data is stored within the midifile. Format 1 has a dedicated track for each MIDI channel, containing up to 16 tracks and is mostly used by older software that is not capable of extracting seperate tracks from a Format 0 (1 track) file accurately. A Format 0 file has all MIDI channels contained within one physical track. This enables quicker load and play times, as only one physical track needs to be accomodated. Although Format 0 (1 Track) is more suitable to MIDI players and data filers, the use of Format 0 within professional music software capable of extracting chanels to tracks is not a problem.
