How to turn on Cookies

To enjoy user features of the BandTrax web site, you need to enable cookies on your web browser. It's quick and simple to turn on the cookies feature. And make sure JavaScript is enabled as you need JavaScript to operate cookies. (Just close this window when finished)

Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.x

You don't have the option to turn off cookies in Explorer version 3.x. Your browser should accept them automatically.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x (Windows)

  1. In Internet Explorer, "Internet Options" on the "View" menu.

  2. Click the "Advanced" tab, and then "Always Accept Cookies".

  3. Click OK until you return to Internet Explorer.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x (Mac)

  1. Open the "Edit" menu and select "Preferences."

  2. In the preferences window, on "Receiving Files" settings.

  3. Under the receiving files settings, you'll see a section named "Cookies". on "Cookies"

  4. On the right side of the window, you will see the phrase: "When receiving cookies:" In the pull-down menu, select "Never Ask" or "Ask for each site". If you "Ask for each site", the next time you receive a cookie from BandTrax, you will be asked if you want to accept cookies for this site -- "Accept".

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x (Windows)

  1. In Internet Explorer, "Internet Options" on the "Tools" menu.

  2. Click the "Security" tab, and then "Custom Level". "Enable" under "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer".

  3. Click OK until you return to Internet Explorer.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x (Mac)

  1. Open the "Edit" menu and select "Preferences."

  2. In the preferences window, on "Receiving Files" settings.

  2. Click the "Privacy" tab

  3. Click the "Advanced" button

  4. Put a check mark in the Box for "Override Automatic Cookie Handling"

  5. At the bottom, put another check mark in the "Always accept session cookies"

  6. "OK"

You don't have the option to turn off cookies in Navigator version 3.x. Your browser should accept them automatically.

  1. Open the "Edit" menu and select "Preferences."

  2. In the "Preferences" window, on the "Advanced" category

  3. Select "Accept All Cookies."

  4. "OK."

  1. Open the "Edit" menu and select "Preferences."

  2. In the "Preferences" window, select "Privacy and Security" and then "Cookies".

  3. Select "Accept All Cookies" or "Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server".

  2. In the "Preferences" window, select "Privacy and Security" and then "Cookies".

  3. Select "Enable All Cookies" or "Enable cookies for the originating website only".
